The 2 Minute Fix: Golfer’s Elbow

This post is part of a new series I’m calling “The 2 Minute Fix” which will be short videos to teach people easy self-care solutions to common movement faults.

The Problem:
Most people in CrossFit or Weightlifting having trouble with medial elbow pain aka Golfer’s Elbow aka Medial Epicondylitis, stretch the forearm flexors with a straight elbow. Here I demo a way to target a forgotten muscle – the Flexor Carpi Ulnaris (FCU) properly with my good buddy Dr. Tim over at Woddoc.

The Fix:
I demonstrate the proper way to stretch and release the Flexor Carpi Ulnaris to relieve medial elbow pain and provide details on finding the problem area.

Couldn’t seem to on web page where your YouTube message is …please add mine and very happy to watch your 2 minute fix for PF which I’m suffering terribly from and have for years I believe. My feet are so sore at times I can hardly walk on them and never seems to get better. If there’s any way you could answer a couple questions from me I would greatly appreciate that AND if you were closer I would definitely pay you a visit….not sure where you are yet but I’m in Michigan. Thank you for any reply you might be able to make. I would gladly pay for advice if I could talk to you.

    Regards, Steve

Thanks Dr. Scott, My dad is a weightlifter and he’s also experiencing that kind of pain. He’s not really into chiropractic therapy but I’m sure he would like this method. Thanks a lot.
